Caithness Beach Cleans is a group on Facebook and that log plastic finds from all far north beaches.
They don’t do anything organised. Everyone goes out in their own time when it suits them on their everyday walks. Caithness Beach Cleans can supply scales if you don’t have any, so that you can weigh what you take in. A photograph is posted to the group page along with the weight collected and Dorcas log’s the details (Name of Beach, Date and Qty Picked).
The Caithness Beach Cleans group collected over 22.5 tonnes of plastic and waste from our beautiful beaches between March 2019 and January 2021.
