In this talk, Magnus Davidson will explore the offshore wind potential found around the coast of Caithness, beginning with the two turbines built for the Beatrice Platform in 2007, before discussing the newer developments such as BOWL and Moray East, built and being built off the east coast of the county. Magnus will look at how these developments can benefit us at a local, regional, national, and international level before going on to explore plans for the Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm, off Dounreay, and onto the wider potential from the new ScotWind leasing round.
