2015 Caithness International Science Festival - 17th to 21st March 2015

The Caithness International Science Festival is a festival of education, enlightenment and entertainment, where all Caithness youngsters are given the opportunity to experience science in work shops, shows and much more. The Festival has been organized every spring since 2003.

Family Science Fun Day - Saturday, March 21st, Wick High School

This was a day of fun and discovery at Wick High School from 12 noon to 4.30pm, as part of the 2015 Caithness International Science Festival.

There was loads of exhibits, hands-on activities and performances by Animal Magic, Dynamic Earth, Baseline Ltd, Zombie Science and many more.

Launch Event

There was a public evening Festival launch at Pulteneytown Academy School on Tuesday, 17th March 2015 at 6.30pm


At this event, there was a variety of sample workshops and shows such as Magnets, Motors... and Great Grandma's Doorbell by IET. Fantastic Fossils by Dynamic Earth, Short show about electricity by James Soper, Fur, Feathers, Skin and Scales by Animal Magic and finally Science Activities with Sphere Science.
